The Acme Foundation

As  funds are available  and  requests  are made within the foundation's guideline limits, The Acme Foundation will provide monetary support to qualified low income senior citizens and the disabled in Lake County, California for the treatment of their seriously ill cats and dogs.  Due to limited funds The Acme Foundation works with Animal Hospital of Lake County only.  Thus, the pet must receive treatment by  Animal Hospital of Lake County to potentially qualify for an Acme Foundation grant.

100% of all net proceeds are awarded to qualified grant recipients.  All volunteers give their time and resources.  There is no paid staff or Board.

If the pet is diagnosed as seriously ill, has a good prognosis of survival by Animal Hospital of Lake County, and the pet owner is considered by The Acme Foundation's guidelines as being low income, a senior citizen or disabled then an Acme Foundation application can be completed and submitted, at Animal Hospital of Lake County.
